The Sounds of Blackness has recently signed with Malaco Records. Expect to hear a new single entitled, “Fly Again” on radio from the Grammy Award Winning Group starting in August.  The new album will be simply titled, “The Sounds of Blackness” and is right on the heels of the group’s 40 year anniversary and the 20th anniversary of their game changing album, “Optimistic’.  The new single will feature Jamecia Bennett on lead vocals. Jamecia is the daughter of former Sounds of Blackness Lead vocalist Ann Nesby , and mother to Season 5 American Idol Finalist Paris Bennett
