5 COMMANDMENTS OF WEIGHT LOSS…..

We all have our “Saint Days” and “Sinner Days” when it comes to dieting, but If we persist in fighting the good fight by taking the following “commandments” to heart, WE  CAN Avoid falling into unhealthy nutrition HABITS……Thou shalt not worship food as your god. Food was designed to serve us—Show a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T for your body and your mind. Remember, You can choose to stop worshipping food right now. “Just say no.” ……Thou Shalt Not Worship a False Image Are we allowing our celebrity-obsessed culture to torture our minds (and checkbooks) with impossible idols instead of maintaining a realistic, and healthy body image? It is critical that we develop a crystal-clear picture of a realistic, beautiful and healthy body in our mind’s eye. …….. Thou Shalt Not Murder  Your eating habits may be killing you, but are they also killing your family? we can choose to dig our graves with our forks, or we can choose to protect ourselves and families…….Thou shalt not steal.  Would you trade your child or grandchild for a cookie? We are being selfish when we place pleasure from overeating before our families and loved ones……..AND.……Thou Shalt Not Covet …….. Is envy of someone else’s body hindering the success of our own realistic weight loss goals? Trying to look like celebrities can cripple us psychologically. The grass is not always greener or leaner on the other side of the fence………..Let’s choose to take “small steps”—or in our case, smaller bites—together toward our ultimate goals.
