Ardmore Oklahoma is a great place to live. I had the opportunity to start Head Start in the late 60's. We lived at 528 Second Ave SE and walked to school. We had some great teachers and my principal was Mr. John G. Cobb. He was tough on us and made sure that we participated in our studies. My favorite teacher was Ms. Billye Zach Graybill. She knew how to get the best from her students. Meanwhile I remember a lady by the name of Ms. Frances Anthony (Dunlap)who a parent that cared about everyone. Her son and daughter Melody and Mark we behind me in school and we friends with Brother John and sister Barbara. We recently had the opportunity to spend some time with Ms Dunlap talk about day's of Jefferson Elementary. We are preparing for a school reunion in May of 2012.
