Title: Are You Ready to be RAW????

Blog Entry: Hey all, this week has been absolutely powerful! I attended Empowerment Service each day this week and every night I learned something new. The first night, Rev. Meeks discussed with us "An Unchanging Word in A Changing World" He uses technology as a great example on how the world is changing and all the corruption that has come changing us morally. Then on Tuesday night, this wonderful woman of God by the name of Dr. Wanda A. Turner discussed family and how a family is suppose to be starting with how spouses should treat one another and how marriae is suppoe to be for MATURE people spiritually, emotionally and so forth. She really opened my eyes to how a MAN OF GOD should treat a lady and vice versa. Then on Wednesday,my oh my, the great Pastor John Gunns came and that night the worshippers stepped out o their boxes. With me being an older youth and in the leadrship roles that I have stepped into I believe that I really need to not only challenge myself but also challenge every young person that attends or jus visits NMCC to step out their boxes and really begin to actually pay attention to the words that are spoken each and every week no matter who it is teaching. With this I wanna propose a challenge to all of those who calls themselves RAW starting November 11, 2007 if you call yourself a REAL ANOINTED WORSHIPPER to sit closer to the front and not sit in te back. So if that means you have to get up early to be at church before time, then do it. God want us to stop plaing games and to be real. During praise and worship come out of that shell. Find yourself a praise partner and u two sit together and praise him together. Nobody says it's gonna be easy, but trust me the more you do ALONE in your quite time the easier it wll be able to do ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME....2ND CHALLENGE: AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK YOU NEED TURN OFF THE SECULAR MUSIC AND JUST SPEND TIME WITH GOD FOR AT LEAST 30 MINS AND LONGER IF YOU CAN. Once you begin to worship God on a regular it will not feel as weird and then that's when you can let go and le God do his thing. So I present this challenge to u guys on October 18, 2007 to make it happen as we prepare for our new building. We can't take the same ole trash into this new building cause then the excitement of having a new building will be lost and it would be just like we are still on Rokbridge Rd, new things need to be accentuated with new ther things. You wouldn't buy a new outfit and then finish it off with a pair of trashed forces. You would want new forces to go with your new outfit. So why do we do God like that. Take the same mantalitites, the same attitudes and outlooks to a new place in our lives which eventually brings us back to our old ways and the new becocmes old and then we wonder wh things aren't turning around for us. I'm gonna be quiet now but I will be returning to remind us all of what oyr purpose is and how just a few REAL WORSHIPPERS can make a difference....luv u guys...MUAH:)
